You’ve come a long way to experience some of the finest fishing available anywhere in the world. But Chime Lodge offers so much more. Extend your stay or bring along the non-fisher in your family and together enjoy all that Patagonia and Chime Lodge have to offer.
At Chime Lodge you can be as busy or as relaxed as you like. If you just want to escape, soak in the silence, or have a lakeside lunch, we’ll arrange it.
Other activities at Chime include:
- Trekking and guided walking tours
Experience some of the most diverse and beautiful landscapes in Patagonia. We have great hiking trails and many of our guests enjoy visiting our nearby waterfalls.
- Horseback riding
You don’t need to be an angler to experience the magic of Chime. Many of our guests enjoy a riding holiday amidst the unspoiled scenery of Lanin National Park.
- Lake trips and picnics
Enjoy breathtaking scenery at your own pace. Take a leisurely stroll around the lodge, or explore our local lakes with a picnic lunch and some good wine.
- Visit the locals
The Mapuche Nation is split between Argentina and Chile and the Mapuche people have managed to preserve their traditional language (mapudungun), their religion and socio-political structure. Local tribes occupy remote reservation communities, where visitors are welcomed with open arms.
At Chime, there’s something for everyone. For more details on non-fishing activities, speak with your lodge managers—they’re happy to help make your holiday great.
